im waiting for a ring too, but i doubt itll come soon for me but my boyfriend could surprise me. i still like to think about what id like for my wedding though, im really into weddings too and i think its normal for girls to dream.
I'm right there with you! BF and I are about to celebrate our anniversary and he told me last month that if I had just been patient I would have had my ring by Dec. 10th, yeah umm that's tomorrow!!! Damn me and my big mouth! He came over tonight and was going to drop down to one knee but I was in an ill mood about my finals so he went home to let me study. Could you imagine trying to study for a final when you just got a ring slipped on your finger???? That would be an F! Hahaha! I hope you get your ring soon! I'm with your friends, I bet it's coming!

Welcome! I would try to not mention it and pretend that you completely forgot. That's how I finally got the ring!
I am at Ohio State University (the best OSU in my opinion!)
@pec- hopefully you'll get it before new years though! If I got engaged during finals week I can tell you right now that no more studying would occur!
@his barista- do you work at a coffee shop?.. I totally am a barista at starbucks and got my bf a custom gift card that says "with love from YOUR barista"

So, I pretty much have weddings on the brain 24/7 now and my friends and coworkers are probably tired of me, so I figured I'd vent to you all!
So, back story:
My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years. For the past year and a half we have been long distance (me finishing up my degree at OSU, and him living an hour and a half away where he works as an engineer). I graduate in the spring, and made the huge choice to move to the same city he is in to work on my master's degree. Great.
He just bought a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath house (which he now lives in by himself)
I want to live in said house when I move there in the summer. BUT, I can't bring myself to live with him until we are engaged (things seem more permanent then)
Soooo, my bf knows how I feel about the moving in business. And I think the proposal is coming. but WHEN? I was trying to be all low key about it last weekend, and then finally came out and said it: "HOW LONG ARE WE TALKING UNTIL I GET A RING!" (whoops!)
... His response: I can't tell you, then it wouldn't be a suprise.
My friends all think it's coming soon, and I at first dismissed it, but now there are definate signs: like he bought a dining room table with 6 chairs (for the imaginary future kids we'll have he said), his dad said he already considers me family, my bf made a comment about getting a new credit card with a huge credit limit to build points on big purchases (he even mentioned a ring, I bit my lip), plus, when I was helping him move into his new house, he kept referring to everything as "our house" and let me organize everything.
So ladies, that is my dilema. I a such a planner and this is killing me!!!
