I think a serving of wine is like 4 oz – so I’m guessing that is what “they” mean.

One glass is 125 ml. I have a glass of red wine almost everyday… Some days I don’t, so the next day I have two! 😉

I do, I do! I love my red wine, i have to have a glass with dinner every night, it also thins out your blood too and they say you can live a longer life, as long as you dont over do it.  A whole bottle of wine makes around 4 glasses of wine if poured halfway to the rim, which is the way you are suppose to serve it but I fill mine up all the way to the top.  I took a nice warm bubble bath last night and brought my glass in with me and it relieved so much wedding stress.  I love Yellow Tail and most of the time get Merlot, I love Cabernet Savignont but its alot stronger so I stick with the Merlot.  They say drink white wine with pasta, fish, white meats..etc and drink red wine with steak or any red meat, delishhhh!

I drink a bottle of wine about 4 nights a week. 🙂  I love red wine.  Pinot noir to be specific.

Love Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz… Anything with a “stronger” taste, I guess… Stone Cellar (California); Yellow Label (Australia, Shiraz or Cabernet); and Laguna de la Nava (Spain) are among my favorites affordable wines… But there are soo many more!

I may be off, but I think the whole “glass of wine a day” applies only to red, not to whites, because Reds have something in them that are healthy for your heart & whites don’t.

Am I off? Or, is it either?

Yeah, only with reds…
Also, I know they recommend pairing white with certain foods and red with other foods… but I really like the red wine and the white, not so much so I just have red with everything and it’s still delicious.

We have been avoiding it lately, but mainly because once my FI has one glass, he finishes the bottle.. It’s too expensive.

If you have a trader joe’s near you, I totally recommend 2 buck chuck.  It’s their house brand “charles shaw” it’s like 3.39 a bottle and wonderful.  If you like sangria, their new flavor “nuveau” is good.  But their merlot and Cabernet are fab & much more budget friendly!!!

I like to have a glass of wine or champagne a day.  Some days I feel like 2 glasses.. some days I dont feel like having one.

I prefer Bordeaux and Petit Sirah when it comes to reds and a Muscadet or Pinot Grigio when it comes to whites.

🙁  Can’t drink much red because of migraines but I pretend the white is still good for you.  If nothing else relaxing more is healthy.

@annie- I believe that is true that it only applies to red wine, the grapes are stronger or something like that, cant wait to have some later now!
