Well, is he going to reply "yes"? That's really sweet. How long before he turned it over?
I'm doing that same for us, as well as keeping reply cards with notes on them, as keepsakes.
He hasn't replied yet! :( Hope fully he can make it!! :D
He turned it over almost immediately and asked me if I was inviting him to his own wedding.
I always make custom cards (for the holidays) but by the time I'm done I've only enough material to send out, never keep one for myself. I made sure this time I keep one for my scrapbook that will start ... ummm .. when ever I get a chance. :)

Usually we are all stressed about preperations we forget to enjoy the little moments. I had one of these moments and thought I'd share. :)
So last night as I was finishing up the invitations, I wanted to make one as keepsake. I decided to put on the inside ribbon "Mr. SoniPapdi =) (my future husband)". Then on an envelope I wrote 'Mr. SoniPapdi-first name "<his nickname>" SoniPapdi'.
I sealed it up and then gave it to Mr. SoniPapdi facing down. I said, "Can you please check the spelling on this one?" For some reason, at that time, I thought the whole idea was incredibly funny and started laughing uncontrollably and rolling around trying to stop myself. I think the Mr. was perplexed as to what was so funny but he started laughing because I was laughing. This of course made me laugh even more. Each time he'd ask "What was so funny?" I'd start laughing again. I had to finally calm down 15 minutes later, with blood shot eyes, sore stomach, and lungs craving more air.
Now, after the fact, I don't really know what got into me, but it is now a good moment to keep in my memory. So the lesson of the day is, don't write an invitation for your fiancé unless you need a good workout! :)
