Put Boyfriend,a condo on the market and start thinking about building a house. Sell condo in 3 weeks! Buyers are paying cash, so you've got to move out by August 31. To do list includes finding a 3 month rental until house is built December 1, forwarding all mail (again, after moving in with Boyfriend a year ago) and keeping sane while building a house.

...um, can someone meet me for a drink? I'm a little rattled at all of this!

Well at least you're not thinking about the ring! ;-)

You need a glass of wine!

Congrats on the sale of the condo and your new house!!!!!!

I could sell my old couch.  No condo here to sell.  I have been wanting a new couch.  Hmm.

Haha, that is a good way to get your mind off of engagement.  No condo to sell over here...maybe a few pairs of shoes.  On second thought, nothing to sell here.

    Good luck!

Hey!  We did this too!  Except we are living in the house while we renovate from the studs.  Yeah, fun.  Good luck to you.  My advice is to get a lot done when you can.  We are 2 months out from today, and I am nowhere near sending invites out....

So I had a bit of a flip out last night. Just a lot going on with moving into an apartment, building a house, then moving into the house. And work is KILLING me. So stressful. Just all around overwhelmed, which isn't a new feeling for most of us.

Part of my pity party to my boyfriend last night is how I feel a little awkward meeting with mortgage agents/ real estate brokers/ builders without a ring on my finger. I know Boyfriend and I are getting engaged, but I can't help but think they think I'm a little ridiculous picking out cabinets, flooring and designing landscaping without a ring. Boyfriend understood where I was coming from, but told me I will be engaged for most of the house building. He also said all sorts of other sweet things that I really needed to hear, which was awesome.

I am pretty sure he's waiting until his August paycheck comes in on August 31. I hate that we (we both work for the same organization) only get paid once a month!

The flip side is; we'll be so busy in the next 2 weeks, I really don't have time to even act on about wedding stuff right now!

@CHK that's awesome that he is reassuring you and you'll be engaged most of the housebuilding process!! I cannot wait to hear the proposal story! I'm so excited for you.
