Wildflowers are totally gorgeous!! Not to mention totally easy to grow, so there’s little risk! That’s so lucky! I planted a ton of bright and colorful annual wildflowers and they got huge and were great for using as cut flowers inside the house. I’m impressed with your ingenuity!!

Awesome idea! I’m also getting married in central oregon this summer and was planning on just scouring the farmer’s market for a flower vendor.

Would you mind sharing who this awesome vendor is? Such a fun idea!

We are having a local Amish family make our basket-of-wildflowers centerpieces for each table. They have a flower and vegetable stand in Spring and Summer, and we asked them to do our flowers; we are superpsyched to support our local businesses and each centerpiece will be less than $30!!!!

Hi!  We are doing the same thing.  Some of the farmers in the area grow dahlias, lissianthus, hydrangea, and wild flowers.  We are supplementing with hypercium and roses from Sams Club.  Great idea and post some pics of the finished product!
