You're welcome! One of the hotels we considered is originally $179 a night and they just offered $89 and there is no obligation or penalty. Awesome site!

Hi beehive,
Our event has a lot of OOT guests coming in. I'm sure the thought of doing a hotel block has come across your minds at one point or another if you have OOT guests. The idea of calling hotels and inquiring (there are so many to call!) turned me off. I recently got curious and poked around www.hotelplanner.com. It has been great!
You plug in all the information for the location and number of rooms that you potentially will use (maximum #) and the maximum per night rate that you think your guests will want to pay. You specify the star rating and submit your information to the system. Within minutes, you get hotel offers from everyone in the area. It even gives you a run-down of how much it is per night with the special rate, what the terms and conditions are (whether there are minumum % bookings and if so, if they are unused, if you have to pay, etc)...They even tell you the cancellation policy, etc. It lets you shop around without having to call hotels because THEY contact YOU and post their offers on that website!
I recommend you give it a try. :)
