As I plan my long and scarry to-do list of things, I want to make sure I don’t forget to purchase and bring all of the small things for the wedding day. What is your list? Let’s share to make sure we don’t forget anything.
Here is what I have so far:
-getting ready robe or track suit
-nail polish removal
-matching nail polish
-sand ceremony set
-pen for marriage license
-flower girl basket and petals
-cake serving set
-pen for guestbook
-thank you cards
-food and drink labels
-photo backdrop stand
-small sewing kit
-Bride emergency kit (tissues, bobby pins, tide pen, mini sewing kit)
-list of vendors and their contact info
-lighter for candles
-Papertowel to dry the bottom of your bouquet before it gets on your dress.
-makeup remover wipes
-maps for out of town guests
-snacks and water for bridal party
-nice hanger for wedding dress
-list of things that need to be taken down and who will do them.

I should print this list. I would have forgotten lighter definitely. Having a check list is a good idea. A friend of mine forgot her marriage license at home. She threw me her keys and while they did pictures I drove to her place and picked it up. Good thing she didn’t live far.

@Katyxa: GREAT list! I’m posting to follow – wedding is in October! 🙂

@Katyxa: this has been copied and pasted into my journal. I’m really anal about things like these lol…I have just under 3 years to plan (agesss) but I need it all to be perfect.
I would add mints and travel sized deodorant to the list because I’ve encountered brides that needed both.

I just saw deodorant! Whoopsies

Great list. I’m a type A so something like this will be VERY helpful for me on my wedding day.

Oh girls, you are so funny. If this seems like something useful, I’m going to add to the list as I plan it. It doesn’t look like I can edit original post to add more things to the list. I just created a list for “The day after the wedding”. Will share with you later.

These are a few other things I had on my list:
- Sun screen (one of my maids brought this and I would of been FRIED if I didn’t wear it.. Think of time spent in the sun when you get pics done)
- Straws (so once your makeups on you can still have a drink)
- Breath mints
- Phone charger
- Gift for my groom
- Lint roller
- Shoe polish (for the boys, someone always shows up with yuck shoes)
- RAZORS! (ALL 3 of our groomsmen showed up forgetting to shave)
- The wedding rings
- A phone charger
- Pretty umbrellas in case it rained
Hope that helps 🙂

@MrsMagillToBe: OMG, Straws! That’s the BEST suggestion.

Bug spray if you’re getting married or taking pictures outside. I did so good staying out of the sun so I wouldn’t have any lines or burns, and it was all ruined by a mosquito that bit me right before I walked down the aisle. Huge red splotch on my back through the whole ceremony. And as soon as it started to fade, another one bit me.
