Weddingbee boards

My engagement actually happened on December 1, 2009 but have been busy with work and holidays that I never had time to really share our engagement!!

What started out to be just a normal day-to-day work day actually turned into one of the happiest days of my life!  After getting off work at 6 I came home to see what my boyfriend at the time wanted to do about dinner.  After deciding on what the menu would be he suprisingly offered to help me cook it.  So there we were my and my love in the kitchen together making dinner which by the way was shake-n-bake pork chops, homemade mashed potatoes, cream style corn and biscuits.  Anyways, let me get back to the topic....once dinner was cooked, plates we clear of food and dishes were cleaned up my better half asked if I would like to get a coffee uptown and go look at the Christmas trees that were on display in the park.  So we hopped in our car drove uptown grabbed a hot cocoa for me and a coffee for him then walked across to the park.  We strolled through the park hand in hand while we made conversation about how lucky we are to have each other and about how the world can be so busy around us but we always take the time to say " I love you" everyday.  Then walked over to the gazebo that is in the park and sat down to just talk and enjoy our hot drinks.  After a few minutes of small talk my Fi got up from sitting position and bent down on his knee and asked me to MARRY HIM!!!  Of course I said YES and told him that at this moment I am the luckiest girl ever to marrying my best friend!!  After a few tears from me and shared kisses and hugs to each other we called his parents and our friends to share our wonderful news!!!
