First, I think your RSVP cards are gorgeous!!  I personally would not order new ones (unless you have the extra money).  I’d cross my fingers that most people RSVP before May 1st.  Hopefully the list of people who do not respond will be small enough that you can call them on May 1st and ask… I also will not personally be using outer envelopes.  I don’t want to waste the paper or expense.  But if you did go with them, I think blush would be a prettier match with your invites.

If there are brides out there who just went through the RSVP process with their guests, I’d be curious to know, do people tend to respond late, towards your deadline?  Or early?  Maybe a poll on this would help you!

Don’t stress!  I think it would be fine to keep the invites and just start making calls and contacting those that have yet to RSVP on may 1st.  Also, I don’t think we’re doing outer envelopes, it does seem like a waste of money.  Just think- the envelopes are going to be ripped up and thrown away.

I agree with PP. I think you should send them out as is, but be very vigilant about getting in touch with everyone before your numbers are due. They’ll understand a phone call.

Just call everyone around May 1 and blame the caterer . . . say they’ve been harassing you or that they changed the date!

I agree with PPs, and your card is gorgeous!!! As for the envelope, it’s hard to see since the colors on my monitor are weird, plus I didn’t do inner envelopes so I’m not much help.
