Wow I'm so sorry that the timing isn't working out for either one of you to attend each other's weddings...Do you know why she chose the date that she did? I would think that knowing when your wedding is, she'd want to somehow plan around it so that you could attend hers and vice versa...
Awe, I'm sorry :( I know that must be really dissappointing. A good friend of mine cannot make it to my wedding b/c her husbands friend is getting married the same day. She is going with him and his entire family to the other wedding.
It always sucks when a good friend can't make it to your wedding, but it sucks even more when you miss each other's big events because of scheduling conflicts. It's good to hear that you're not upset over the fact that she later scheduled it on the same day. Maybe the both of you can plan a day just for the two of you and share pictures/slideshows/videos of both of your days!
I'd be sad too :(

One of my dearest friends got engaged two weeks ago and I am sooo happy for her, she's super happy and I'm super happy for her. They were planning to get married may 2010...she called to tell me they're getting married Nov 6, 09 which is not only the day before my wedding but the day of my mehandi...so we won't be going to each other's weddings. Of course, she's entitled to get married whenever it best suits her and I'm thrilled for her but I'm really sad that we don't get to be there for each other.
