I have already planned on doing my own wooden wedding signs – we’re getting married on the beach with the reception just a few feet away.
This is my dream sign but I just can’t afford to pay for something like this. We have scrap wood and I have tons of paint so just a few nails and it’s put together.
How do you think the lettering was done on this sign?? It’s perfect and doesn’t look “childish” either and this is the classy look I’m trying to get accomplished.

@stephalina6: I can’t see the pic, but you could get some letter stencils of nice loooking script and some craft store paint. They would look really nice and it wouldn’t cost more than 20 bucks or so.

Brightly colored waterproof spraypaint for the wood, stencils, white paint for the lettering. Get some Gorilla Glue to construct the sign and let it dry overnight before painting.
Gorilla Glue for outdoor use

1. Draft the sign on your computer using the stencil of your choice.
Print it out on ordinary paper.
Use a projector to project the image onto your painted board.
You can prop the board up on a table next to a wall.
Use a pencil to copy the projected image onto the board.
Then paint the lettering .
2.Or, you can draft the sign on your computer using whatever font you like.
Then print it on stencil material.
Cut it out, use spray adhesive on the back .
Attach to painted board and fill in the stencil with paint
