Firework: You’re welcome. Aww, thanks!  It’s 3 bands (Ering and two wedding bands–it’s super heavy lol). It honestly doesn’t photograph well in my opinion. Here’s a professional pic that’s clearer.

I clean my ring every few days because I have a jewel jet (personal jewelry steamer).

heres my process: take mug with a few drops of dawn and full half with water. Put in microwave 1 1/2 mins. Take out and put ring in, let sit for 20-30 mins. use baby toothbrush and water to get around prongs and under pavilion. Turn on jewel jet and then steam the heck out of it! I get compliments all the time bc it’s always looking brand new lol.

Firework: Wow, your ring is stunning!

LoveLikeCrazy:  I’ll have to look into the jewel jet!  I currently do the first step of your process, but I have a cushion cut with a halo and I can’t get into the basket to clean the underside of the stone so it never comes out as nice as when I bring it to the jeweler.  Whenever I start doubting the quality of the stone I know it’s time for a professional clean haha.

LibrarianBride:  check eBay! I have the red jewel jet and bought it on eBay for 40 bucks.  They do have a newer version but it didn’t get as good reviews and it was also ~$100-150. People are usually on the lookout for the red ones so sometimes the bids get kinda high. Honestly though, it will be the best money you’ve ever spent lol! You are able to keep up on it so nothing really builds up.  Just search “red jewel jet”.

Firework:   May I suggest you buy what my jeweler suggested? Works fanatically & is very affordable add long as you dint purchase it thru box jewelry stores which up the price by 3xs what you can get it for at places like Wal-Mart. It’s only $4.95 there.
