@mittens111211: Smashbox has some really great primers, even a line of colour correcting ones. Urban Decay makes a great eye primer. For my dark circles I use SmashBox High Definition Concealer and it's amazing.
@Aure: I briefly look at Sephora and saw the Smashbox line, I think I will look into it! Is the liquid concealor hard to put on? I've only ever used powder.
I use bare escentuals for my REALLY dark circles. I use a mix of two of them and now I can't remember their names...well rested and bisque?
There is also a product by benefit that really covers dark circles. A little bit of powder over it and it is set. It is called Erase Paste. It comes in a little tiny jar, but lasts forever.
I have terrible dark circles under my eyes so I had the same problems! I use Photo Finish lid primer from Smashbox on my lids and under my eyes first, then I use Smashbox Camera Ready full coverage concealer on top! These work really well in my opinion! Hope this helps!

@mittens111211: I get dark circles and the thing that has been a miracle for me is the Garnier Eye roller - and I keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cold ... It's a miracle!
For a primer I use MAC's Paints in Bare Canvas - you just have to apply shadow almost immediately after you apply the paint. It's also amazing!
@mittens111211: It takes a little getting used to. Get a nice concealer brush and put a TINY dab on it and use small strokes. If you try to use large strokes with too much product it can get streaky. I love the smashbox stuff!
@BackyardLoveBird: I use the bare essentuals concealer, but not the well rested, it was actually too much coverage because I only wear mineral veil, and not foundation, so it never blended right.
Thanks Bees! So many suggestions! I have my hair and make-up trial on Sunday, we'll see what she suggests...

I've been looking around for a product that will do both of those things. I was using an Avon product, but it's been discontinued.
I have combination skin and I cannot get my concealor on evenly, I have to put something on my eyes to smooth everything out! I've tried using my lotion, but that actually makes it worse.
Any recommendations?
