So, my wedding may be two years away, but I like organization and planning, so I’ve started already. But, I’ve found myself with the deliemma of do I WANT a wedding party at all, you know, the maid of honor, bridesmaids, etc…One of my problems is my sisters are 16 year old twins…how do you choose positions for girls the same age that you love equally? So my question I guess is do I make the wedding party just myself and my groom, or do I go forth with the whole nine yards and do a wedding party? My second issue is location and convienence…we’re doing this in the woods seeing as how it is a Halloween theme..there’s no real “aisle” persay, I mean, I don’t see a way to create one in that setting. So, which route is best?

I would hold off on making the decision about your wedding party. There are plenty of posts here about people who asked their party right away and regretted it along the way…

you have plenty of time to think about it give it some though.
Also there is nothing in the rule book saying you cant have 2 maid of honors or two people sharing the same roll.
As far as an aisle goes use your imagination create an aisle with flower petals and lanterns being its Halloween themed 😉

OctBrideToBe & Runnat: me too! you should wait, so much can change in only a few months..

I would just wait a year or so and decide how you feel then.

I would say if you don’t want one don’t have one especially since you have twin sisters.
The woods and the aisle are a whole different can of worms.

As PPs have mentioned, you have loads of time to think about this, no need to settle on a decision right away. One option is to have two maids of honor. My sisters and I have opted for this. (Three of us, one already married and I’m getting married. In both weddings, the other two sisters are/were co-MOH.)
