    I am wearing the Pronovias Fauna for my July wedding:

    I love the dress, but the second time I went into the store they put on a cathedral length veil with rhinestone edging and no blusher on me and I fell madly in love:

    I really want to look exactly like that on my wedding day, but the veil is $500 which I reeeeaaallly don't want to pay. I would like to buy something cheaper, but I am worried about matching the colour properly etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Hey sis, my veil is not matching my dress properly AND I am wearing two different veils. My friend got me an Amsale veil that she got with her dress a couple of years ago and then she's giving me a mantilla she got from a lady in Spain. It's edged with Spanish lace. I don't know that your veil has to EXACTLY match the dress. Actually, a friend of mine got a veil that was a bit more bronzeish than her dress and it was gorgeous. See your pm for a picture.

      Also, if you have the style number, check ebay, preownedweddingdress.com, oncewed and good ol' etsy :)

    @bRooklynRocks:

    Trust you to have great ideas:)

    I will check my PM and then start doing reaserach. My friend offered to let me borrow her Pronovias veil but it has a blusher which isn't detachable and I really don't want the blusher. I know I am being a weirdo about that lol.

    @plantains: Honestly, I didn't like the idea of paying a lot of money for what amounts to tulle. Ask around with your friends or sisters or FSIL's. I'm sure someone would have a veil that you like. If not, you know you can make one too. EXACTLY like that. I could hook you up with my seamstress. Cheap lady, well, you know your sister :)

    Exactly, $500 for tulle is crazy. That is a pair of Jimmy Choos right there. I will start asking around, and if I go the seamstress route I just might need your hook up.

    Try OccanseyDesigns Their chtherdal veils start at 60$, you can add rindstone bands for and extra 160$. I got my veil there, I highly recommend it! Good luck!

    @ALMALETY:

    Nope, no crinoline. I love the floaty and light movement of the dress as it is and feel that a crinoline would ruin it.

    go to your local fabric store and buy the material, they also have the hair piece comb. Once you have decided on the length you sow the veil to the comb nice and tight. If you want you can add crystals from micheals it will be a lot cheaper and exactly what you want. I made a veil for a friend of mine and I can not sow. It looked like she got it from davids bridal. ps. your dress is amazing i love it.
