@MrsHoneyBear:  Yay!!!! It happened!!!!!!! Happy birthday and congratulations! Your ring looks very beautiful and white. I love the double prongs 😀 As far as your wrist hurting goes, your ulnar nerve (one of 3 main nerves in your arm) runs from your neck, past your elbow, through your wrist, and then branches down to your pinky, ring finger, and across your hand to your thumb. Wearing the ring too tight might be compressing this nerve that may be already entraped by the swelling/sprain in your wrist. I think it should go away once your wrist heals and you are wearing the correct size ring. On a somewhat related note… take that ring to the local jewelers that sized you, and have them double check that it’s made in your correct size 🙂 If they accidentally sent the wrong size you’ll save yourself the hassle and money of getting it sized up.

@MrsHoneyBear:  Have it checked out by a jeweler and if it sizes correctly then wait it out. It could very well be that you’ve got some residual swelling in your fingers. Also have them resize your fingers while you are there to see if you are swollen or not. That will solve the mystery, I’m sure. Hope you feel better and heal quickly so you can get that baby on your finger, where it belongs! Congrats again and take care! xo

Well, I have had a cast on my hand for the last 4 weeks.  Unfortunately, it was during the custom ring design process!  My fingers have been swollen more than anything even though they are able to move.  I bet your fingers are swollen too.  We took my new sparkly home yesterday but the jeweler assured me we might have to size it down after the cast has been off a while.  Don’t get discouraged!  It will get better.

Congrats! I’m so happy for you!

Your rings is probably a good part of your pain. I had a previous ering that was a size too small and my hand and wrist would hurt a lot if my hands were swollen at all. I know you probably don’t want to take your ring off at all (!), but you might want to only wear it when you go out and definitely not when you go to bed. I hope you can get it sized soon! 🙂
