I think it definitely depends on whether or not I knew anyone else who was blogging. I've always been a huge blogging fan, so I think that I probably would have blogged about it some, but probably not as much as I do now!
I started a blog to practice blogging in the hopes of blogging for Weddingbee or Maharaniweddings but I find it difficult to write a bog that no one is reading lol! I haven't posted anything new on it for the past month since my weddings plans have come to a stand still until we book all important the venue!
I still plan on adding to my blog, or applying for weddingbee or maharaniweddings as I have a huge list of DIY projects ranging from all the stationary, faux floral initials, bridesmaid's gift bags, and even food!
@BR: I've been following your blog! You should post to it. ;)
@LoL: I was blogging for a long, LONG time before I discovered the Bee, but it definitely changed the way I wrote!
Aww that makes me so happy to hear that someone is reading it besides myself hahaha! Ok ok I'll post on it once I start making some progress with my wedding planning, which will hopefully be soon.
I have samples on order from cardsandpockets.com so I'll make a tutorial for my mock-up invitations.
I started blogging before I found this site but I'm def. glad I did. The ideas I've found here are a lot more interesting and it makes me want to blog more.
Plus, the response and support from the ladies from WB who follow my blog make it even more awesome! :)
I started blogging about other stuff but always gave up after a few posts. I dound doing one about the wedding kept me more consistent (I post 5 days a week - I'm not the Office Bride for nuthin'!) and it at least gives me a way to get wedding talk out of our system!
More than anything else, was my surpirse that I was actually getting readers and followers! It's a great feeling!
OfficeBride; I think that blogging, or even just posting on the weddingbee forums, is a great way to get some wedding talk out of your system so that you aren't talking your FI's ears off! Plus, he isn't all that interested in the flowers, invitations and all those details - he just cares about the food, alcohol, music and his white horse that he gets to ride at the beginning of the ceremony!
I started blogging a few months before I even heard of Weddingbee. I think only like two people read it on a regular basis, but whatevs. It's a good place to get my thoughts together and it'll be a nice little memento of my wedding-planning brain. :)
Oh, and it's also really helpful when co-workers and acquaintances ask stuff like "Did you go dress shopping yet?" "Which venue did you choose?" and then I just send them the link to my blog so that they can see all the details.
Before the Bee, I didn't know much of anything about blogging but I was itching to document things so maybe I would have found out about it. So I guess I owe my thanks to the hive
sort of. i have had an online journal for years in different avenues. i wouldn't have started one exclusive to me not in an online community if it wasn't for the hive.. i am surprised that people are interested in me, lol i am pretty boring if you ask me but i do love pretty things (shrugging shoulders)

Would you have started a wedding blog if Weddingbee didn't exist/hadn't inspired you to do so?
