Would you like this?
A friend of mine is getting married this weekend and we are both in the MINI Cooper club together. She isn’t really a girly girl but her & her husband-to-be both drive MINIs. While I was at Michael’s the other day I found these little ceramic trinket boxes with a Mini print on it. I couldn’t not buy it!!! I bought 1 for myself and 1 for her (they were 60 cents a piece!!!). I was thinking that I would get some fabric and turn it into a ring box. I’ll accompany it with a card and a monetary gift. Would you like to get a ring box like this as part of a wedding gift?

Yes that would be so cute and thoughtful especially since you’re ll into minis

Sure! Cute, esp since it has meaning between the 2 of you. A few people gave me and/or Darling Husband a small more meaningful gift with a monetary gift and I loved it. While cash gifts are generally more useful, “item” gifts are more easily remembered and appreciated long-term. This is the best of both worlds.

Definitely! It’s adorable!

Absolutely, it’s thoughtful and adorable! The practical monetary gift just sweetens the deal for the couple. Very considerate.

I think it’s perfect! It’s got a sentimental, meaningful side to it as well as a practical one. I put my ring back in its ring box every night while I sleep, and I’d much prefer to put it in an adorable box my friend gave me! I say go for it 🙂
