Silver is a very “soft” metal and most likely won’t stand up to daily wear for 10, 20, 30 years. I have two sterling silver rings I wear every day, but they are just simpler bands with no stones and I wear them with the knowledge that they will scratch and dent and get beat up. A sterling silver ring is NOT a viable option for an engagement or wedding ring, in my opinion.

ETA: Here are some very similar rings in white gold:

You should be able to go to a local jeweler and they can make that ring (or something really similar) in whiTe gold.

IMO you may want to have an independent jeweler create something similar in palladium. It’s super resillient and wont scratch much or lose its color over time like white gold (needs to be redipped) and platinum (scratches easily). much less maintenance for someone who works in a manual job.
