Am waiting for my man to pop the question – he has ordered my dream ring *squuueeeee* – and am planning to tell my two best friends and ask them to be my bridesmaids in one go. (I wrote a thread on it yesterday).
My conundrum is…
I can’t choose one over the other so I want them both to have the same “titles”.
One is married and the other isn’t, so…
Do I call them both “bridesmaids” or “maid of honour” and “matron of honour”?
What do you think and why?

Bridesmaids. I don’t think you particularly need a MOH. It’s just a special title and bridesmaid is giving them a job and inviting them into your wedding party but without splitting hairs

Technically I think it would be maid of honour and matron of honour (for the married one) but really I would just call them whatever they prefer to be called. I asked my married sister to be my MOH and since we both didn’t like the word ‘matron’ we just called her maid of honor.
