I definitely think you should cut it off - I would listen to the song and see if you can find a natural sounding spot to fade out and transition into another song!
You could have somebody edit it so that it fades out and that way it doesn't cut off oddly.

The isle is about 30 feet, so it takes no time at all to get to the end. Our daughter is making a cd of music and she can't find a song to walk down to. Does it sound right cut a song off before the end of it? or do you make everyone sit there and listen to the whole thing? I'm also thinking a 4 minute song is a long wait for the guests and the bride & groom to wait until the end. Thanks
