You mean just a plain pony? Are you planning on curling it? The only reason I ask is because I once had my hair done for a formal event that turned out amazing:
She did 3 ponytails down the back of my head. She wrapped each ponytail holder in hair to hide it 100%. Starting at the bottom she curled every piece in about 10 curls (depending on length/thickness) pretty small and tight. The finished effect was a full curled ponytail, but it added lots of length and fullness. BTW the ponytails were really close, about 1" apart. I'll try to find pictures.
I haven't seen many straight ponytails with veils but I have seen brides with side ponytails with veils.
Here's one that would look good with a veil.
And this is a low straight pony that I think would look nice with a veil

Hmmmm thanks for the tips Bees! I know I can't do the side pony (I have small head issues and it just looks silly) but I do love the third pic (blonde hair one).....I know there was a Bee on here from a while ago that did this, I will have to search for her pic....

Here is the straight side pony I'd like.
I wanted a veil, but actually bailed on that idea after the bridal consultant put a feathery piece/clip (I so didn't think it was "me" but turned out I loved it)

I'm doing a ponytail for my reception for sure! I'm wearing my hair down for the ceremony and know that I'd end up one hot mess by the end of the night. This one's kind of... bouffant... but I still really like it!

I really dont love up-do's on myself, for some reason, they always look goofy on me so I was thinking of doing a simple ponytail and possibly have some extra hair clipped in to make it nice and full.
Does anyone have pictures of a veil with a ponytail style? Am I completely out to lunch?
