The reason the mister and I are waiting to get engaged is because we're LDR and both looking for work. We were going to base our eventual location based on who got a job first and where. Obviously in this economy finding a job was going to be an added challenge but we forged ahead.
Well, I just got a job! I'm so excited especially since I had been out of work for 2 years. It's such a relief to be employed again and to finally be able to get on with my life. We're still far from being engaged since we now have to negotiate a move (the job is in my current area) and saving up for said move/future apartment but I'm glad that we got over one major hurdle.
Here's to being employed and making a small step towards forever!
