If you could be more precise in saying what you define a traditional wedding as, maybe I could help ; )

Do you mean invites with plain script, one color choice, white flowers, etc?  I think that the term traditional has also changed dramatically over the years so it’s more like a moving target.

It sounds like you know what you don’t want, which should help narrow down what you do want. What kind of suggestions do you need?

I think wording is key- like for photographers, state that you don’t want the photojournalistic style, but more portraits.  Plain white invitations shouldn’t be that difficult to come by- I’ve seen alot at Michael’s and other craft stores.

It sounds very elegant, what you’re describing!

I love it!  I am actually doing an outdoorsy wedding but everything else is white.  White is GORGEOUS and I am a huge texture person and what better way to highlight texture than with monochromatic schemes?  I think it’s going to be lovely.  🙂

@moose91:  What an interesting challenge.  I look forward to pics as you start deciding everything.  🙂
