Hello Bees,
I have been engaged since November and am finally getting round to posting our story :)
FI proposed on a Saturday - we were in the middle of eating brunch when he pulled me up and said we had to go somewhere and to close my eyes.
So I did and he brought me into a room and told me to open my eyes. When I opened my them, we were in a ballet studio and there were these little girls all dressed in their ballet outfits and they put on a little dance for me. After which they came up to me one by one and each handed me a pink rose.
FI then got down on one knee and proposed :) I was so nervous I just nodded and the rest is history..
I love ballet and all things to do with ballet so I think this proposal was just perfect! FI told me afterwards that he called at least 5 different ballet studios and this was the only one that agreed to help him out. He even prepared little goodie bags with snacks for the girls afterward and got his friend to take photos of the whole thing :)
