So, now that the day is over, the glitches have made for the best stories…
The rainy weather dampened our dreams of hiking photos, and a canoe trip around the marshes, but our photographers came up with some phenominal ideas to make sure we still got a variety of amazing shots.
Our wedding was crashed by another wedding party, who decided to show up at our venue and just started taking photos, getting into the background of our shots. Politely asking them to leave didn’t work, so things got a bit tense for a while and set us back an hour. They happened to be staying at the same hotel as us, and we were milliseconds from getting into a huge brawl… but luckily we walked away, and nothing happened.
Here are just a few photos of the imperfect day which is undoubtedly the best day of my life thus far…

Thank you! That was truly a labor of love. Vintage lace tablecloths and curtains found from various thrift shops/garage sales and handmade paper fans!
Haha… Boo indeed. Although I love telling the story now. Our venue was really far out of the way of anything, so I know they probably didn’t get many photos at all. They waited around in the parking lot for a while because we were wrapping up to go to our reception, and then the skies just opened up, and they took off!
Thank you! Those were the first of many of my DIY projects. I love how they turned out in the photos!

Beautiful! I love the warmth and fun in your photos.
How inconsiderate of that other random wedding party…
Your details are awesome. And I love that you painted your nails red.
