I am an English teacher, and my FI thought it would be cool if we didShakespearean Themed names for our beverages:
Father-in-laws home brew to be distributed at the rehearsal dinner & in the OOT bags:
“As you like it” and
The water bottles for the ceremony: “Much Ado About Nothing”
The signature cocktail: “Midsummer Night’s Dream”
What do you ladies think? Corny or cute? Also, do you like the tempest – we haven’t been able to come up with anything else.

Okay, don’t take this the wrong way, but the first thing that popped into my head was “Taming of the Shrew” LOL … sorry!
I’m not sure about The Tempest, either – maybe not the best connotation? How about “All’s Well that Ends Well”?
Did you leave out Romeo & Juliet on purpose? You could call the two brews something like “Juliet’s Elixir” and “Romeo’s Poison” – turns the “tragic” aspect into something kind of funny?
Overall, I love the idea! 🙂

I love it! What about “The Phoenix and the Turtle”? My favorite poem, and very romantic.

I’m an English teacher and we’re doing A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a theme, and I LOVE this idea!
