I was checking one of my favorite websites this morning and came across this product. It’s a platter that your guests can write sign with a porcelain paint pen that you can then bake and keep it permanently.
If you can’t afford this version, you can make your own with any preglazed ceramic plate, decorate with the porcelain paint pens (which are available at Michael’s or Hobby Lobby, if you ever plan on eating with the platter, use the food grade ones). Then put the plate in your cold oven, then turn the oven to 300 degrees for 30 minutes, then turn it off. Let the plate warm up and cool down in the oven-don’t touch it! Once it is totally cool, take it out and it is permanent!
I am going to do make a trial run at this, I will post the results.
