I suffered from a stress fracture four months ago and because this is the second time this has happened to me I knew I would likely have it for the wedding because I am so slow healing. I was put on crutches and rest for these past two weeks in hopes of speeding up the healing.
Last week I got an MRI and found out the results today at the doctor - I don't have a stress fracture! I have bursitis in the same spot and all the doctor's thought it was a stress fracture because mine are so tiny you can't seem them on an X-Ray.
The bursitis is easily treatable with cortisone and instead of walking down the aisle in a soft cast and wearing a giant air boot to New Zealand - I will be absolutely fine.
It is supposed to pour all day on Saturday but I could care less because for the first time I won't be in pain and I can dance without worry or fear of hurting myself more.
I just had to share this great news because I am so freaking happy!!!!!
