So last night I had my first wedding nightmare and I didn’t get much sleep. I’m sure this happens to a lot of brides-to-be. I don’t remember a whole lot but I know that no one showed up (except for the bride and groom) and everything went badly.
Anyway, I’m not wedding stressed or anything yet, which is why this surprises me. We’re 2 years out from the wedding, and I have 4 weeks left of my under grad 🙂 so I’ve been (sometimes unsuccesfully) trying to keep the focus on school for a little bit longer.
Anyway, anyone else getting wedding nightmares?

Oh my goodness I’ve had some doozies. I liked the one where all my BM bouquets had giant spiders in them, or the one where the centerpieces were made of light up christmas villages, or the one where my bridesmaids didn’t show up until 15 minutes after the ceremony was scheduled to start…

Ugh, yes I have had wedding nightmares. I think I get them more often when I am feelings stressed or overwhelmed about how much there is left to do for the wedding planning. My latest one (about a week ago) involved a circus wedding complete with a face painting booth and elephant rides. The only person happy about this in my dream was my 3 year old nephew. 🙂
I’ve tried some relaxed breathing exercises before bed and that seems to help quite a bit. I also respond really well to aromatherapy, so a little lavendar/chamomile oil behind my ears relaxes me, too. And it makes me smell nice.

I had one last night too! Weird! We had a whole "practice wedding" where all these random people showed up. It was in some green house that horrilbly hot and the dj didn’t show up for a long time!
And the weirdest part was some other girl was pretending to be the bride and my fiance was holding her hand while I had to sit there and watch as the best man gave the toast and she tried to kiss my husband! He didn’t let her but I ran off crying! Weird! Weird! Weird!
