I love that site (http://www.intimateweddings.com) and am going to have one myself!
This couple (such a gorgeous couple btw) and two of their friends went to Paris and they eloped.
No huge wedding. No giant reception. But elegance thru and thru! Their pictures are absolutely stunning!
Bigger isn’t always better and when it is smaller, sometimes financially you can do “more”.
Btw, the beautiful bride ice skated in her wedding gown!

Wow what gorgeous pictures! I want to go to Paris with my wedding dress and DH just to get pictures like that!

Isn’t the photo taken from above looking down on her as she twirls in her gown just simply breathtaking?
I love this! This is why I’m going the intimate route (well a few more than 2 guests)!

my only worry when it came to hubby & i eloping was to make sure it was legal and we only had to be in PNG 5 days for that. i know in France “For couples wanting to elope in Paris, The city demands that either the bride or groom lives in France for 40 days before allowing the couple to elope”. ref: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Get-Married-in-Paris—A-Guide-For-the-Persistent-Romantic!&id=529631

I love this website! I don’t see the particular wedding … I see the main home page.

I <3 the wedding!! I would want more than two guests though but perhaps less than 75 (definitely intimate by my family’s standards)

Great post…though methinks that this whole thing did not come cheaply. I think it would have been nice if her mother had been there too.

What gorgeous photos. I understand their decision to elope was personal, but I just couldn’t stop from feeling so sad for the parents. 🙁 The mother sent her a package with a veil she had made for her?? Just breaks my heart to think about her mother wishing and probably always thinking that she would have been able to share that special day with her daughter.

My mom would’ve been heartbroken. And I’m not really buying that the veil was “inadvertantly” unpacked — methinks she did not like it 🙂

Haha Diorable! Maybe one of the reasons why she ran to France in the first place!!!
