Period started, no pads in sight, and of course, I'm dressed up for the day.

My period has been erratic since I stopped the Depo shot around July - one month I had nothing, one month I spotted, then nothing again, and this month it seems to be coming and going!

Nothing bled through, but I was definitely wandering around the bathroom at work with no pants on trying to rinse out my underwear and then doing the "pack with toilet paper" to keep from having any other accidents.

Bees, tell me I'm not alone in this!

Been there, done that.  Ugh, I HATE it.  I now ALWAYS carry an extra tampon in my purse, just in case.

When mine was irregular I kept a small back stuffed with them wherever I was (the girls in band loved me as I always had a big bottle of Ibuprofen and a variety of pads and tampons)

Yikes! Been there too. And I have obviously not learned anything from that experience since I STILL don't carry any extras in my purse 24/7. I am terrified that it will get to the wrong hands and I will be embarassed! Like little kids going through your stuff when you are not watching (obviously not at work), or my purse contents just spilling all over because I tripped, etc. Yikes!

And the WORST part of this nightmare is that some workplaces do NOT equip the toilets with pads/tampons, etc.! Although of mediocre quality, I would still like to have them for emergencies instead of the TP. (Or in addition to it!) Ugh! Yell

I keep a stash at work because I tend to use whatever I have in my bag and forget to replenish...  Luckily I work near a few stores that sell pads/tampons so it's usually not too bad but it sure induces panic when it happens!

This is why i use a cup -- that way i don't need to worry about packing extra supplies--I'm always good to go.

Having come off depo once I will be jamming all my pockets and handbags full of rescue items :P It's so unpredictable.
