@fabange:  I don’t see how you think you look like a clown. I think it looks good.

That makeup looks phenomenal. I would maybe try a different eye shadow colour or lip colour. But the foundation and shaping is bang on!

OMG! You look gorgeous! You remind me of Jennifer Hudson! Your eyes! Wow!

I can understand feeling like a clown especially if you do not normally wear heavy make up or those colours. But remember that the make up needs to be heavy to photograph well. As a PP suggested maybe try different colours to find something you’re more comfortable with. Maybe a slightly darker/matte lip colour. But otherwise I think the make up artist did an awesome job as far as execution goes…

Wow, I was actually looking for a real horrible looking makeup shot but instead you showed us a glamour shot. You look beautiful in your trial makeup!

I think it looks lovely. I just think the lip color is too purple! I think a more natural shade of lip color would be better for you.

@fabange:  That make up looks great – I am also interested in what foundation she used. I would get rid of the purple lipstick tho and I always think that with black people and gold it is really important you mix it with a significantly darker earthy tone or black . I personally love  black and gold

Umm the foundation is gorgeous. I dont like purple lipstick but it looks good on your face. you have a few dark spots so she wasn’t trying to make you look like a clown but trying to make your face more even toned.

I’m with the others, I think you look beautiful.  After reading the first post, I thought the secod one was someone else posting an example of their makeup to show a good trial.  It took a while to realise that that was the makeup you hated as I think it looks great.

I’m going to agress with the others that the purple lipstick is over powering but the rest looks great.

@fabange:  You look beautiful!! Do you wear makeup often? I had my makeup done a while ago for a wedding and I felt very much like you but then I realized that I just wasn’t used to wearing it so it made me feel like it was just so much caked on! I got used to it though and once I saw the pictures, I felt better. Maybe she can do something more natural for your lips. Other than that, you look great! 🙂

@fabange:  Wow!!  I think you look great.  I love the make up she used and I would agree with PP the purple lipstick has got to go.  I think you look fabulous, not like a clown.  Just tell her to use something a little less colorful on your lips.  But other than the lip color, you look really stunning!!
