I always check the AA Board and there is little to no activity. Where are you ladies at?
that's what i want to know. i come on here a whole lot and never see current posts. sigh...

Well, I'm AA, but I don't chime in much because I'm not engaged yet. Mostly I stay on Waiting and the Home board. I wish it was more active over here though. I like reading the wedding stories and looking at pictures. :)
I'm also AA, but not yet engaged. I kind of hang around the waiting board for now. I'm sure I'll be in here asking for hair style advice some day.

@MissMamaBear - I wish it was more active here. I try to think of posts to start that are relevant just for AAs but I can't think of any!
@tytbody- I guess I am. They're going. We're down to the wire. All that's left is to pay for everything. I'm a college student and we have a daughter so we're really pinching pennys.
@VioletVeil - You live in Wichita, KS? That's so close to me!
@Oyster - You should make a post showing celebrity make-up and hairstyles. My make-up artist wanted me to send pictures of what I wanted and I had no clue.
there really isn't much that we do different that's why it's hard to come up with topics. The main difference is our hair and our makeup. The rest is all still anxious brides.
@oyster, i love reading your blog. it's awesome
@futuremrstaylor, let's not EVEN talk about pinching penny. this has been very hard on us. but, it's just making me dig into my creative side and DIY a lot of stuff. i can't wait to get married, but soooo tired of planning.

HI Ladies! I am an AA bride, and have noticed the lack of posts on here. My wedding is three and a half weeks away. I am getting anxious. I had my makeup trial yesterday. Tell me what you guys think.

The make up looks good, very natural..Your eyes look really good. Maybe it's the lighting but the lipstick looks kinda of dark to me.
@Tiffany Thanks. The lips were a little too dark. So were the eyes. I love the foundation though. I was so scared that I would get the "cakey" look, but she did a wonderful job. I am going to go a bit lighter on the eyes on the actual day of, and brighten up the lips.
Hi AA, I was thinking the samething and telling my best friend that is getting married, but I'm cool I just jump in and add my comments lol I'm glad to see other AA brides on the beehive :) and dsuhornets your make up look very beautiful!!

I am also AA bride and I check AA forum a lot but I never see alot of posts. I need to do better and start posting more. My only issue is I am deployed, I wont have much to post about until I get back.

I am also an AA bride getting married in 14 weeks ( it sounds better than 3 months).
you look gorgeous and natural. I wish I could find someone to do mine.I do fine each day but dang on that day I just want to look amazing. I guess I'll just keep drinking my water and do facials once a week. Gotta start somewhere:)

Hey ladies! I've been out of this thread for too long--sorry, school is getting ridiculous. I'm out of waiting though! So I am officially a bride!
@FutureMrs.Taylor: Shawnee is pretty close--I used to live in Manhattan ( I might be back eventually).
@MsMamaBear There are more AA waiting bees than let on I'm sure. Since the major wedding season is now upon us, a few more may surface. I wish they would. The support in the waiting board is a major help.
@dsuhornets:I know that I'm late, but I love the makeup from your trial. Do you know the name of that lip color by chance?
