It might be right. Don't panic over the things you can't control. Late June, highly unlikely that it will be freezing. Rain won't dampen the day trust me. For our outdoor wedding it was overcast, still had the outdoor ceremony, photos were great, and nobody had squinty-sun-eyes. :) Breathe. :)
Don't worry about the weather. It has been so touch and go these last couple weeks that you can never trust it. Two weddings in the last month and both had rain on their day.
Wedding #1 - Ceremony to start at 4:30pm. Was pouring rain and grey all day. Guests were lined up on the roofed porch not sure what to do. At 4:31 the rain stopped and the sun came out. Was a gorgeous evening the rest of the day!
Wedding #2 - On the way to the ceremony it was torrential downpours. It stopped by the time we got to the church. Later found out that they took all their pictures and had been in the limo coming to the church as the rain started.
It will work itself out!
I've been doing the same. This morning the weather said 93 and sunny...now this afternoon it's changed to 60% chance of rain. Now this is the south in summer...they get rain at least once a day...fingers crossed it'll shower before or after!
@mousegirl: I agree with you entirely about the deep breathing! But unfortunately, in MA, and especially this year, the fact of it being in late June doesn't mean much. Three days ago here it was in the 50s and pouring!
But yeah, my post was mostly tongue-in-cheek.
Mostly.
@mightywombat: Yes, but if you look at the overall trend on weather....the temps are going up. It'll be ok. I have my fingers crossed that the beautiful day happens for your wedding day!
NO NO NO NO NO.
Do NOT look at the forecast yet!
That is one of the only pieces of advice I always give that I'm taking.
Trust me - it will change a zillion times before next weekend (holycrapnextweekend?ahhhhhhh!) and you'll just go nutty.
:)
@thewheelsonthebus:Thank you, I needed that...as I'm sure the OP did. Weather is something we cannot control, so we shouldn't stress about it...nothing we can do!
@thewheelsonthebus: Oh girl, I know. And yet I did it anyway. Le sigh.

I just did the thing I shouldn't have done, and checked the 10-day forcast. It's supposed to be gorgeous on the 25th. So my immediate thought is, "OH NO!!! The forecast is never right that far out!! That means it's going to be freezing and pouring!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!"
This has been a cautionary tale of how a bride-to-be can slowly drive herself and her loved ones entirely insane. Don't let it happen to you!
