Weddingbee boards

I'm new here - so here's my quick story. BF and I have been together for a year and a half, own a house together, have been living together for over a year. He is nothing I ever thought was my 'type' but he is everything I want. We talk wedding stuff all the time and are starting preliminary plans, but no announcements or anything until it's official. We're shopping for rings, he is CLUELESS when it comes to anything jewelry so he has made it clear he would like me to narrow it down for him so he can choose one he's certain I'll love. He finally asked my Dad last Saturday after chickening out about four times - he refused to buy a ring until my Dad said yes, which he did so now I wait. He is a union car hauler and I a full time nursing student. So hello to all and hopefully I won't be waiting too long.

Thanks. I'm hoping before our Annual Cousin Christmas party - I get asked EVERY time I see them when we're getting married - especially since my little sister just got married.

LOL. No. Actually, it is my sorority pledge name from college. My 'big' called me Mattel as a nod to Barbie as I'm extremely feminine and girly... Barbie's just tall and blonde, and I'm short and brunette
