here is my intentional re-comment 😉

how about best boy?  i’ve never heard it used before, but in your case it just might work.

Could he be a junior groomsman?

Aisle Master? Or Master of the Aisle?

My youngest son was totally against the idea of being a ring bearer ("That’s for babies!") but Master of the Rings? Oh yeah, he is all about that!

I love the master of the rings idea!

Serya – that is so funny!  how about Lord of the Rings?  your post made me realize – if he is 9, why not find a name that connects to something he is into?

do you know what your cousin likes?  baseball?  harry potter?  maybe we can come up with something clever that fits HIM.

my nephew, who is only six, is devoted to indiana jones!

i am starting to really love aisle master or master of the aisle.  best boy is a movie reference – so that may not be totally off.

i think a 9 year old would totally dig the master of the aisle or maybe something like master of ‘ceremony.’

Master of Ceremony is super cute too! And, as it’s a real live term when they ask (as my 8 y.o. is prone to), "Did you make that up?", you can say, "Nope. It’s a real title!", with conviction!

Absolutely love Master of the Aisle! I’ve just got an 8 year old’s opinion and he was loving it!

You could get him a little button badge made with it on?

Master of the Aisle gets my vote – I may have to use it too!

Or he could be a "page" if you are looking for something more serious-sounding.  That is an actual wedding ceremony title (though I think it’s techinically the boys who hold up the bride’s train in very formal weddings).

I’m loving Master of (the) Ceremony! But if another family member is your actual MC then he might get upset & think his job is less special. In that case, Master of the Aisle is great too!
