I don't know what a two-hole button is, but what did you see on the dress you tried on? If this isn't the same, you should have been informed or they should fix them for you!
I think they're pretty, but my dress has unusual buttons on the back too. Mine has a pattern of 3 satin buttons followed buy a crystal button repeating down the dress. If you don't like them, I'm sure that's a really easy alteration to just replace them with a different set.
No, I haven't necessarily seen that kind of button on a wedding dress before. What did the shop say? You should really bring it up with them. You could also go to a fabric store and get some pretty crystal-looking ones if they don't turn out to be very helpful.
So what happened was I had them add it on to my dress...from what I remembered, I asked for fabric buttons...however, I got these instead. I wouldnt have minded having crystal buttons but I did not expect them to be grey AND what I mean by 2-holed button is that the button has two holes on it for the thread to go thru...it's like buttons you see on guys' dress shirts. You can see it if you look closely on the picture.
When you did the change and asked for fabric buttons you should have gotten that in writing somehow? Tell them that you thought you asked for fabric buttons and start there.
the buttons do look quite strange, and make it look like a second-hand dress (like some of the original buttons were missing so you replaced them all with regular buttons). i would change them for sure. like corleycolorado says though, you're lucky that it's easy to fix. you can even easily do it yourself if you find suitable buttons online or something.

I just received my dress from the shop and when I saw my dress with these buttons, I was horrified. I was expecting my buttons to be relatively smaller and color-matching to the dress, however, it turns out that these buttons actually have two holes like regular buttons and they were dark grey! I have personally never seen a dress with these buttons!!! The crystal buttons that I've seen were clear and they were crystal ball buttons not 2-holed buttons!!
So please someone tell me that these buttons are not normal to be on a wedding dress especially!
