I only slept for 5 hours Monday night and 4 hours last night. To me, that really sucks because I typically sleep about 7 hours a night. I mentioned my 4 hours of sleep to a group of girls, and they all said they sleep between 4 and 6 hours in a typical night. What?! That friggin’ sucks. So it got me wondering how much Bees typically sleep…

Usually around 5 hours. I have a baby who bedshare a with me, so I never really fall into a deep sleep. She also wakes up a couple of times throughout the night to nurse.
I should also mention that I get into bed around 7, and fall asleep anywhere between 9-11.

I don’t know how some people survive on such little sleep! I’m a zombie if I don’t get at least 7 and I always aim for 8 or more.

I’m in college and my roommates usually get 4-5 hours, while I get 8-9. They also usually pull allnights about once a week and act like it’s nothing lol I’ve never done that though.

I sleep around 10 hours every night. Hubby and I turn off the TV by 10:30 and I don’t wake up until 8:30am.

I can never get enough sleep!!! I would say I usually get about 8 hours, but mornings are a bitch no matter what (and I never have to get up before 8:00!). I like to stay up late (12- 1ish), but no matter what time I go to bed I naturally sleep until noon or later. I wish I was a morning person, but I’m just not. My mom is just the opposite – she’s up at 5:30 no matter what!

- Wedding: October 2011 - Bed & Breakfast
I need 8-9 hours, but only get about 6.5. House and pet chores don’t do themselves while I’m at work, so it’s up early to take care of morning chores and to bed late after doing evening chores.

Usually five to six hours — getting a solid eight pretty much never happens.

7 hours before I was 8 months pregnant. Now it’s 7 or more hours in bed, but interrupted.

I’m usually in bed and asleep between 10-11 (I fall asleep within a few minutes) and wake up between 5:30-7:00am, but I almost always wake up around 3am for maybe a half hour. So I think I average around 7 hours, but I sometimes get only 5-6 and don’t feel too bad.

Lately, I don’t seem to have a typical. It can range from 3-12. When I wasn’t struggling as much with some chronic health issues, it would usually be about 5-6 on school nights, would sleep a bit longer on one of the days on the weekend and the other day maybe 6-7.

I have no idea how people deal with having a newborn. I was watching 16 & Pregnant and the baby was up crying every hour or so all night. I would lose my mind on night two.

I can sleep a lot, I work evenings so I don’t have to get up in the morning. I usually wake up after 8-9 hours, but if I don’t get up right away I can fall back asleep and get a total of 10 or more hours.

I try to aim for at least 8 but probably average around 7 if I’m working the next day. If I’m not working (and lucky), then I can get up to 9-10 hours. But sometimes I just like to stay in bed for several hours after waking up so it seems like I’m sleeping a lot but I’m not, just lazy 😛

FI and I have to wake up at 5.20 for work so I am usually in bed with FI at around 8-9 and then we chat for a bit and snuggle and other things 😛 So I get about 7 hours. We always aim to go to sleep earlier but having housemates we don’t really get alone time until we go to bed so we always end up chatting later than we meant to. I am glad we at least both have extremely early mornings though.
