I would get everything ready so that when you get the magnets you can pop them in the mail within a day or two. I think 4 months out would be the absolute longest I'd wait.
I just sent out STDs for a july wedding, but after my surprisingly popular poll on wedding bee "Are STDs stupid?" I discovered many people consider them unnecessary. Maybe you can just call and tell people about your date instead?
I think you that could work, as long as you send them right after you get them. My cousin is getting married in April and we haven't gotten STDs from her yet (I know she's doing them, just hasn't mailed them out yet)
I think you can still send them but you should mail them out as soon as you get them. I mailed my STD's out about 51/2 months out so you should be fine. 4.5 months is probably the latest I would send out STD's

Hi Bees!
I fell in love with some STD magnets on etsy, but waited too long to order and now the earliest she can get them to me (completed) is March 15th, for an August 15th wedding. Is this too late to send STDs?
Technically, 100% of my guests are out of town including me, but most will be driving/taking Metro-North in for the day so they won't need to book hotels.
