I too am skeptical of a fad diet. Acai berries are good for you because of their nutrients but I doubt they will cause you to lose a bunch of weight.
Acai had a lot of nutrients and are healthy for you. It really is a "super fruit".
I actually work for a botanical extracts company and many other companies buy things from us for various reason (natural weight loss supplements being right up there on the list, acai and hoodia are front runners at this moment). There really is no 'evidence' per say of how it helps, or if it does at all, one lose weight. But it is considered safe, it's not like one of the other items that may cause an increased heart rate and all. But I am no dr, I just buy this stuff for work
I am skeptical of the acai berry trend right now since there are a lot of scams involving acai berries atm. Anything online with acai is likely a scam, or if it's not an outright scam, it might not even be the real acai berry you are getting.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I was just browing around and had this link a friend sent to me about the Acai Diet (Acai Berries) and how they are great for weight loss. They also said somehting about combining it with a colon cleanser (which sounds ewwwy.)
I am always skeptical when it comes to "fad diets" and never try them, but I've been seeing these Acai berries everywhere.
So Bees, have any of you tried the Acai berry diet?
