@aliavenue: I know this is a bit of an old thread but I would just like to add (since I’ve found myself in a similar situation)–brick and mortar is better. You’re not going to be able to work full time and devote your full attention to a Ph.d program at the same time, one is going to suffer–and it’s a LOT easier to learn concepts face to face
imho, the brick and mortar school wins hands down. If you’re serious about this opportunity, and I’m sure you are, that is probably the best choice
