@julesbeeb:  this the dress?  it’s stunning!  I think a fingertip veil – fairly simple, maybe a slight lace trim…

I would keep it simple 🙂

For the veil, from where the decoration on your dress is, you need to decide if you want it floor length or shorter, imo. If shorter, then you probably need an elbow-length veil so the edge doesn’t obscure the detail around the top of the skirt (fingertip, as suggested above, could work too, assuming your arms aren’t as long as the model). Otherwise, I’d go with a veil that ends just past the train/skirt (so cathedral if it has a chapel train, etc).

I agree on minimal detailing – I personally love the look of plain drop veils, so maybe check those out (I can’t stand poofy veils, at all). If you don’t know what a drop veil is, Kate Middleton and Princess Grace wore them at their weddings (both had lace edging and beading, I believe).

For a belt, I think you should go with a simple satin ribbon in one of your wedding colors, or ivory if you don’t think that will go well.

If you’re going to do a necklace, I’d go with a strand of pearls and simple pearl studs. You could easily go without a necklace, though, and just wear pearl or diamond studs.
