I am much more of a T-shirt and jeans kind of girl and I don’t usually wear more than a necklace (not very often) and a ring (and a watch, but that’s for practical reasons not aesthetic). My dress is lace all-over with some silver details on the bodice. I am wearing a simple fingertip veil with a headband that is pretty blingy. I found this necklace today and absolutely fell in love with it!
My ears aren’t pierced so I don’t have to worry about it being too much with earrings. There is a matching bracelet that is very pretty. I don’t normally wear bracelets, but hey, it’s my wedding day! When else do you get to dress up in all the shiny and frilly you want? I’m a little concerned that the detail on my dress + headpiece + necklace + bracelet + rings will be a bit too much.
This is the bracelet:
This is the headband:
The headband has already been purchased, but nothing else has. I really like the necklace, though, and I’m pretty set on buying it.
Here’s a very quick mock up of how it might look with the detail on my gown:
The only difference is that my gown, veil and the necklace would be in white, not ivory. It’s a pretty bright white, too.
What does everyone think? Would all 3 (headband, necklace & bracelet) be too much with the detail on the dress + E-ring and wedding ring?
