I haven’t purchased wedding jewelry yet, but I have been looking at Etsy and they have some beautiful wedding accesories. I think that would be a good place to look.

…I wouldn’t go to Claires, they do have cute stuff for going out but in the wedding photos you can tell when it’s clearly from Claires and the like. I would recommend the Swirosky store, they have holiday deals and the quality of ’em is amazing. My FI purchased a bracelet for me from them and it sparkles sooo beautifully and I get so many compliments on it. Also you could spend less by buying statement pieces from ’em like earings if you hair will be up and a dainty necklace from Claires so you don’t over do it budge wise nor fashion wise.

I bought my jewelry, my bms necklaces, and a bracelet for my mom from etsy. I loved all of it. And id never spend that kind of money on jewelry id rarely if ever wear personally!

I bought a lot of my jewelry and bms jewelry off of Etsy. Here is my favorite shop!

Jam Jewels I have ordered from them numerous times and they have been amazing. My friend loved the necklace I bought from them so much she asked to borrow it. I love their stuff because I feel its reasonably priced. Yes more than Claires (lets face it though, it looks better and is of better quality of Claires) but not so expensive that its going to break my budget.

Good luck!

Lucky for me all my jewelery was given to me as a Christmas/birthday presents!  My mom bought my pearls at the Bay, and my sister got my hair comb at Passion for Living (there are a couple in the GTA/Hamilton area I think).

I got necklaces for all my BMs at the Bay – there were lots of nice options there.  And for bracelets, my mom got a really gorgeous one for my wedding at a store in the mall (Melanie Lynn or Laura or one of those).

All of my stuff is costume/cheap, but you can’t tell.  It all depends on the metal and colors, some of the stuff you see in stores is very obviously cheap but others look nice.  I found a lot of stuff on Etsy and Ebay.

I bought my stuff from the Ann Taylor wedding line- I caught it on a 40% off sale and ended up spending around $50 for a necklace and earrings. I personally wouldn’t wear stuff from Claire’s just because it’s meant for teenagers at prom, not grown women at their wedding. there are definitely different levels of “niceness” with costume jewelry. I also like nadri, which is a brand available at nordstrom and dillards (and I’m sure elsewhere). I initially bought a pair of earrings by them but I couldn’t find a necklace that matched.
