I'm normally okay at accessorizing- but all these new things to play with- I'm a bit stuck.

First things first- I'm wearing Augusta Jones' Isola (or a Chinese copy of it).

Part of me thinks that I should just go minimalist- hair in a bun, no veil, no jewellery nothing. But then, that's boring. And I'm not a boring person.

I love my hair up, off my face. I'm digging a low chignon/bun style.

I'm also really loving birdcage veils, snoods, fascinators, anything fun. The back of the dress is lovely and i don't want a long veil to cover it up.

I'm thinking of lots of options Lastly, jewellery. I was thinking just small pearl earrings and perhaps a bold bracelet. What do you think about a necklace? The front of the dress is quite low cut- but do I want to cover up, not really?

Any insights, doses of sanity most appreciated.

I looovvee your dress! It's simple but still very elegant. I agree about not having a necklace. It has a beautiful neckline, I think a necklace would just detract from it. I also love the first hairstyle pic you posted and a birdcage veil would compliment the whole look nicely. Diamond or pearl stud earrings would look nice as well. I also think adding a bold chunky bracelet would be a great addition! I dont see why you need any help here. You seem to have it figured out!! Good luck :)

    Stunning dress!

I agree - a necklace isn't necessary. I would suggest some sparkly dangly earrings to add some bling around your face. A bird cage veil will certainly work but I would shy away from a large fastener since you already have that fun flower on the back of the dress. I'd choose something similar to the peice in the second picture, to add a little sparkle to your hair (also love that updo).

You're going to be a gorgous bride!

    i loooove your dress!

If i were in your shoes, i would nix the veil unless it were a simple birdcage.  I would, however, have a necklace--i would try to find something that had a simple and elegant chain that came down your back as well?  I can't find a picture to adequately explain what my thoughts are, but i think it would be pretty!

I love that dress on you! You look a lot like Sarah Jessica Parker, and that dress is something she would wear too. You might get some inspiration if you google for images of her in a similar dress and see how she accessorized. Have fun, it's a great dress!

    OOH so pretty!!!

    I love your dress!

     Now that I've stopped fawning...

I would wear my hair as styled in the 2nd picture posted since you have that extra bit of fabric at the back (not sure what to call it).   THe hair style is super simple but adds just enough to make it pretty and not overstated.

I would wear a necklace, but again keep it simple.  Maybe an 18" chain with a drop pendant (crystal/diamond) something sparkly.  Again though I would keep it understated.  Just enough sparkle.  For the earrings I would also do a simple drop earring with crystal or diamond pendant.  A threaded earring would be nice cause then all you would see is the crystal and it wouldn't detract from everything else.

I just want to say you rock this dress way better than the model that displays it online!  I totally agree that minimalist is the way to go with this.  If your ears are pierced, maybe some great earrings, and consider skipping the veil, doing a lovely (and sparkly) hair clip with a small fascinator.  I wouldn't personally do a big chunky bracelet either, since everything about this dress feels light and free.  I'm specifically thinking about a thin caliber, but sparkly bracelet like:

    http://www.like.com/jewelrywatches/thin_art_deco_metal_and_crystal_bracelet

I also fouond a lariat like catrelle suggested.  I'm not sure that it would work, but I think it's worth checking it out, because it would be so beautiful to have something dangling down your back.  If only it didn't have to loop around the front.

thanks ladies... i love the necklases (and earrings) on haute bride site- any idea how $$$ they are (no prices).  i especially like this one...

and perhaps my hair in the low bun- but with this clip.  I just wish it was more 'dimensional'.  one question- does wearing your hair down that low make you look "matronly".  hmmm?

another option I've thought about is a birdcage veil- but worn like a snood.

below is my attempt with £5 french netting, safteypin (to hold the gathers) and bobby pins:

Love your dress! I think that you should wear your hair like in the second pic with a bridcage veil. I also think a fascinator to match the flower on your gown would be amazing. Something like this with a custom flower

    http://birdcageveils.com/birdcageveils_lavon.htm

As far as jewelery I would keep keep it simple. Stud earrings and a dainty bracelet. In my opinion a necklace would just be too much and take away from the dress.

Morning everyone- well an ebay seller i've been stalking for a bit just had a sale- so I bought up (2) (GASP) fascinators.  i'm having my hair trail next week, and I wanted something to play around with.

they were super cheap- so it's not the end of the world if they don't work out.

I also found these earrings on etsy and LOVE them.... whatca think? (seller is Laurashape)
