So, I’m not usually a jewelry wearer, but I want to on my wedding day because I do find it beautiful! I just have no idea what I should wear! I don’t want it to be too much or not enough. im posting a pic of some pieces i saw on Etsy that I like but maybe they’re too understated? Maybe I need bling and not pearls! I dunno! I’m wearing a veil, and doing my hair in a loose, low bun. I’m also adding a few layers of tulle to the top of my dress to make it a little more textured, and so you can’t see the satin underneath. Any suggestions for me?? I can’t stop thinking about this!!

I have found that with accessories, it’s all about balancing them with your dress. For example, if your dress neckline is very busy, steer clear of a necklace and wear delicate earrings instead. If you want to wear bigger earrings, don’t bother with a necklace. If you wear a busy necklace, don’t wear earrings or a bracelet as the focal point should be on the necklace.
I think in your case, those earrings would look best with your dress without the necklace. The bracelet is fine to wear IMO as it’s very understated. I think pearls are fine for a wedding especially if you want to look elegant!

Thanks! I was mostly torn on whether I should be wearing a necklace or not! I think I was feeling like it was too much without realizing it, because your post definitely just made my decision really easy. I don’t necessarily think my neckline is busy as there’s no crystals except on my belt, but it is the part of the dress that has the most going on, so I think I’ll go with just earrings and a simple bracelet!
