Hey ladies! I bought my dress in December, I thought that i had a million years to figure out accessories and stuff but here I sit with 40 days to go and no clue.
My dress: http://www.priscillaofboston.com/dress_detail.jsp?search=lucy&sfid=50746&f’ defer=’defer
Lucy one of the Vineyard style of the Melissa Sweet collection.
I have no idea what accesories to wear. I bought sparkly blue flats (my fiance is vertically challenged) and am leaning toward a birdcage veil but that’s where my plan stops in its tracks.
I like clunky wooden stuff a lot but am not sure how that would look. I saw so many wedding magazines with super chic girls sporting big wooden bangles and earthy necklaces but am not sure that either I (or the dress) can pull that off.
Help me if you can! I would appreciate any advice you can give.

i tried on this dress and loved it! it was my number 2 pick 🙂 i ended up going with piper from the same line. both are very similar with the ruching. the consultant i worked with in the boutique suggested simple pearls since the dress has such a pretty sweetheart neckline. i’m leaning towards pearls but with more of a vintage, layered look.
another idea is trying to find a miniature version of the flower on the back of the dress (maybe on etsy.com) and use it as a fastner on a necklace (like below where the diamonds are)
i’m not sure if the ‘earthy’ wooden accessories would go well with sparkly blue shoes…but that just my opinion. if you can find some you love go for it!

i’m imagining a simple, angular spray necklace of rectangular or square crystals — not too long — paired with a matching crystal bracelet. they have some of this kind on j crew.

I LOVE all of the jewelry that the girls have shown you. Wow, I am not even gonna try to find alternatives. I think they’ll work really well with your dress too. Which I also adore. In my opinion, whatever you like is what ya wear and it’ll look wonderful!
