Ugh, today my back is achy all over. Usually stretching helps a bit, today it’s just moving the sorest spots around. If it was cold, I would use a heating pad for sure. It’s pretty hot today though, should I bother with the heating pad?
I thought about taking pain killers, but am drinking some wine instead. I’ve tried OTC muscle relaxants before (could only find them with pain killers) and found they were useless, alcohol is a much better relaxant! Ugh, I should maybe see if a prescription would work better for me.

Heating pads totally help with an aching back. It helps me! Turn on a fan and use the heating pad.
You can also lie down on your side with a pillow between your knees, or lie on your back with a pillow under your knees. It eases pressure on your back/aligns it better – that’s how I sleep now and it helps.

I have so many pillows, and blankets in my bed to get comfy. I have on and off chronic pain. I I didn’t sleep well last night and felt super stressed out today, so I think that’s why it’s so bad. I do have a foam roller, maybe I’ll stick that in bed for better support than just pillows and blankets, I haven’t tried that yet. I should buy a body pillow, maybe this weekend.

I would get the little disposable heating pads. My back is all messed up from a car accident and used to cause me all sorts of pain because I did some landscaping work. I found that the little disposable pads that go from cold to hot helped me a lot. You could probably get them fairly cheap too. I think I used to get mine from Target for under $7 (bought store brand).
