I think for now...all you can do is wait. Hopefully the dresses will come in. Also, you can get your dress professionally steamed. Ask the bridal shop for a referral or check your yellow pages.

Get a contact name at the BM dress company from the store. Also, ask for a copy of all the paperwork from the order. That way, if they close you have a name and information you need to track the dresses down. As far as alterations goes, ask the store and also ask around to other brides and see who they used.
In my experiance, the dress shop almost alaways charges more for alterations, so much so my girls asked if they could have family do it for them or take it to a independant seemstress. I think your BM's will be ok with the cost. Either way they were going to have to pay for something.
I think it might be a nice gesture to do some research for them and call a few places to get prices for hem, sides taken in...and so on. This way they are not left to do it themself, and possibly letting it go until it's too late.
Any cleaners can press and steam your dress, take it to aplace where they do it IN HOUSE do not let themship it to their plant in Pakipsy or something odd like that. You do not want to take the chance of it getting lost...
Given your size, if the crinolin can not be bought for the rental price I will be selling mine and be happy to do it for a cheap price. My wedding is in a week from today.
Get EVERYTHING in writing, especially the fact that if the dresses do not come in you will be getting refunds in full for each of your girls. This is them ost important thing. Before the store closes, if they give you #'s to reach them at after they close, try them first to make sure they are not fake. This way if they don't work - you will know and still have a way to reach them before the shop is closed.

I WAS able to buy the crinoline, which made me happy. The owner claims the dresses will be in the last week before the shop closes, so fingers-crossed everything will be okay.
The owner also told me to steam the dress somewhere else would cost about $50, my MOH thinks I should asked the shop owner for the money, but I already know what the answer to that will be... I have not bought my veil or hairpiece yet & she said she would be putting them on sale, so I'm hoping I can talk her into giving me one to make up for the steaming...
I'm glad that everything is working out in littes ways so far. I hope that it continues to go this way for you hun!!!
So I went to the bridal shop on my lunch break, she is going to put the $50 (what she says the steaming will cost) towards my hair piece, veil, guestbook... whatever I end up getting... This makes me much happier!
GOOD! At this point what does she have to lose and at least she will go out knowing she was great customer service til the end!

I've heard of this happening to other brides, but never thought it would happen to me! I just found out today that my bridal shop is closing on Aug 29, 2 weeks away!!!
Luckily my dress is in, but my bridesmaids dresses are not. I spoke with the manager and the dresses should be in in the next two weeks, so I think I'm in the clear. Here are the things I'm worried about though:
#1 - I'm supposed to rent my crinoline from the shop for my November wedding. The manager said she'd let me buy it for the same price I was going to pay to rent it, so hopefully that will work out.
#2 - the shop was supposed to steam my dress before the Bridal Shoot and the Wedding, who's going to do it now?
#3 - I haven't had my alterations done yet (or the alterations for my BM dresses). The shop side mine would be free since I only needed a few inches taken off the bottom. But now I have to find a place for my BM to use that will probably cost more!
#4 - what if the BM dresses don't come in before the shop closes? The manager said she'd have the dresses shipped to her house if that happened, but I'm not sure I can trust that....
